In June 2025, together with my cohort* from the Master of Education in Arts at the Piet Zwart Institute, we created Are We There Yet — a self-published booklet under the Willem de Kooning Academy. The publication is a collaborative collection of poems, illustrations, interviews, and reflections, offering a travel guide for navigating the often challenging landscape of being an artist-educator. The project emerged from a shared desire to find a creative outlet for the frustrations we encountered during our education and professional practice. Aimed at art educators, students, and teachers, the book opens up space for dialogue, recognition, and a good smirk.
